About the Hunt:
The Hunt for Humanity is a unique scavenger hunt that unites participants with strangers of every race, creed, and lifestyle through ridiculous interactions, with the hope of fostering peace. Each challenge places the participant in contact with a complete stranger, and in doing so, the participant is vulnerable—to ridicule, rejection, judgment, etc. This vulnerability gives rise to a new perspective, a new understanding, and a new hope with each successful challenge. In forcing this interaction, the Hunt helps us to discover the beauty in people whom we would normally walk on by, while making us aware that nothing is funnier than challenging some French dude to an all-out duel in Central Park!
Our Mission:
The Hunt aims to affirm our belief that humanity thrives in this great city, and in doing so, to expose the absurdity of our introverted and prejudicial society. The growing success of this event has shown that people are thirsty for social unity, and that laughter is a powerful quencher.
